Our research contributes to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of dementia diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. To this end, we are actively developing our clinical research and are looking for a committed scientific personality, capable of autonomously coordinating clinical studies and actively participating in the establishment of our Dementia Research Centre. Your activities Active participation in the creation and strategic development of the Dementia Research Centre Autonomous planning and coordination of clinical research projects Scientific support in the design of new research projects and the writing of funding applications Coordination of the start of new studies as well as monitoring study initiations Writing and updating study documents and relevant documents for studies Coordination of all project partners as well as organization of meetings, training, presentations, and data safety monitoring committees Monitoring of project milestones, recruitment targets, schedules, and budgets Advice and support to researchers in the planning and execution of national and international clinical studies First point of contact for internal and external inquiries concerning research projects Establishment and maintenance of national and international research collaborations, notably with the UK Dementia Research Institute What we offer • A responsible activity with a great deal of leeway • The possibility to actively participate in the creation of a new Dementia Research Centre • Participation in innovative national and international research projects • Close collaboration with experienced researchers and interdisciplinary teams • A modern academic research environment with short decision-making processes • An internationally connected research environment with collaborations with leading institutions, notably the UK Dementia Research Institute • Flexible working models as well as attractive possibilities for continuing education • A committed team with open and rewarding collaboration Your profile Degree in human medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences as well as a completed doctorate (PhD or equivalent doctoral degree) Several years of professional experience in academic or industrial clinical research Marked interest in dementia research Experience in the coordination of clinical studies or in clinical research management Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical research; knowledge of ICH-GCP is an advantage Experience in project management Autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented way of working Great sense of organization and communication Strong service orientation and pleasure in working in interdisciplinary collaboration Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
