For our client, a leading international company, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join an innovative engineering environment focused on cutting-edge technology and precision manufacturing.

Location: Zurich
Start: ASAP or by arrangement
Contract: 6-month contract via Hays with a strong possibility of permanent employment (Try & Hire)
Work Model: 100% onsite
Workload: 100%

Your Responsibilities

Perform mechanical integration of components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to technical drawings and specifications
Execute bonding and adhesive activities (e.g., SW2216, Silver Glue, Masterbond)
Ensure full traceability by documenting all integration activities
Support test campaigns through hardware handling and mechanical tasks
Collaborate with IVVQ, engineering, and design teams to optimize integration processes
Conduct incoming inspections of mechanical components and assemblies
Prepare hardware for storage and transportation
Optional: Mechanical machining activities such as drilling, milling, and CNC work

Your Profile

Proven experience in mechanical assembly and integration
Experience with bonding technologies, ideally SW2216
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documentation
Background as a Mechanical or Assembly Operator
Experience in high-precision industries such as aerospace, space, defence, avionics, medical devices, or watchmaking
Independent, hands-on working style
Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards
