The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the Canton and beyond.

In the Klinik für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie under the nursing management of Mr. Sven Lang, Claudia Thoma is looking for a Deputy Ward Manager in the field of psychotherapy, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Assumption of all relevant tasks of the ward manager to ensure smooth ward operations in the absence of the ward manager
• Supporting the ward manager in the professional and personnel management of the ward team
• Co-organization of ward processes and optimal scheduling of the nursing team while observing the available resources
• Enforcement of the applicable specifications and standards including continuous performance recording and monitoring
• Supporting the ward manager in personnel and team development

Your profile

• Completed training as a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF with several years of professional experience and experience in the psychiatric field
• Interest in leadership tasks and organizational skill
• You are a resilient and flexible personality
• Networked, cross-sectoral way of thinking
• An independent and responsible way of working completes your profile
