The Coordination Office for Special Support Köniz, KSK ensures that children and adolescents with special needs receive appropriate support in the regular schools of the municipality of Köniz. We network special education measures, bring expertise together, and advocate for fair educational opportunities for all. At Wangental Juch and Niederwangen, we are looking for a committed speech therapist for a substitution during a maternity leave of the position holder.

Tasks ###

• Substitution speech therapy. - You carry out therapies with children who have linguistic peculiarities, learning difficulties in the area of language, or developmental delays. - You work directly on-site in an interdisciplinary team with teachers, IF teachers, the school management, and school social work. - Duration: from now until approximately the end of December, possible extension.

Requirements ###

• A diploma in speech therapy (EDK-recognized or equivalent from German-speaking foreign countries) - or you are on your way there. - Joy in working with children and sound expertise to specifically support individual linguistic development processes - creative, diagnostically sound, and with a view of the whole. - Desire for exchange, teamwork, and a working environment in which your experience is valued.
