Head of Yard (m/f/d) - Member of the Extended Executive Board YOUR TASKS - WHAT YOU WILL MOVE WITH US In this key role, you bear the overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and further development of the yard. You ensure that our construction sites are reliably, economically, and safely supported with machines, equipment, vehicles, operating materials, and services. You manage the division entrepreneurially across two hierarchical levels with a total of around 70 people, promote employees in a targeted manner, further develop processes and digital work tools, and ensure high-performance, efficient, and service-oriented operations. In doing so, you are responsible for the complete lifecycle of procurement, management, and liquidation of the entire inventory – from construction machines, equipment, and vehicles to operating materials. Your area of responsibility also includes the management of costs and services, reporting, internal accounting, as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. You create transparency regarding key figures and controlling and ensure quality, occupational safety, health protection, environmental protection, as well as machine and operational equipment safety. In this function, you work closely with construction sites, construction areas, and internal specialist departments, as well as the responsible parties in the group's sister companies. You review contracts and approvals and participate in division-relevant procurement and investment decisions. YOUR PROFILE - WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU You are an entrepreneurially-minded leader with technical understanding, organizational strength, and a good sense for the requirements of an operational construction company. You think in networks, act pragmatically, and effectively coordinate people, processes, and resources. You have completed basic technical training, ideally supplemented by technical further training – such as as a mechanical engineer, civil engineer, or engineer of a comparable technical field. Business administration and/or leadership-related further training rounds off your profile. In addition, you bring several years of experience in a comparable leadership function and know the requirements for construction site processes, machines, equipment, vehicles, warehouse management, and internal service processes. Your leadership experience, cost, quality, and safety awareness, as well as clear, target-group-oriented communication, are important to us. You use the creative leeway entrusted to you responsibly to optimize processes and actively drive the further development of the company. Additionally, you bring experience in change and digitalization projects, which you will use specifically during the introduction of our new ERP system.
