Network planner and client for railway infrastructure projects

This position independently manages a geographical area of railway lines and nodes as a client and responsible for the planning of infrastructure projects.

Tasks

• Independent management of a geographical area (lines and nodes) as network manager and client of infrastructure projects
• Grouping of infrastructure interventions into coherent projects considering railway operations and technical-construction aspects
• Responsibility for the integral setup of construction projects in the assigned sector
• Management of requirements and changes, project governance from assignment to testing and delivery
• Representation of the interests of plant owners in ongoing projects
• Conducting negotiations regarding contributions with third parties

Profile

• University degree or professional university school degree in engineering or business administration, or equivalent training
• Alternatively, several years of experience in the railway sector
• Professional experience in related fields such as multidisciplinary project management or network development
• German or Italian as mother tongue with excellent knowledge of the other language
• Ability to work independently and solution-oriented
• Solid ability to integrate different interests and to manage pressure
