SOS Oxygène SA is a specialized homecare provider in the field of respiratory care. We accompany patients with complex medical needs in their home environment and work closely with hospitals, doctors, nursing organizations, therapists, as well as relatives.

To expand our pediatric homecare offering, we are looking for a committed nursing professional for Pediatric Care (80–100%).

The activity takes place predominantly in the field service at the homes of children and adolescents. Together with the families and the involved professionals, you contribute to safe, high-quality, and as self-determined care as possible.

Your tasks

• Care of children and adolescents with complex respiratory needs, especially in the area of non-invasive and invasive ventilation as well as oxygen therapy
• Regular home visits to children and families in the assigned care area in German-speaking Switzerland
• Counseling, support, and training of parents, relatives, and other reference persons in handling therapies and medical devices
• Coordination of care and support during transitions from hospital to home, in cooperation with pediatricians, hospitals, Kinderspitex, therapists, as well as other care partners

Your profile

• Certified nursing professional HF or FH with several years of experience in the pediatric field or comparable qualification
• Experience in the care of children with pediatric ventilation, Palliative Care, intensive care, or homecare
• Experience with respiratory therapies, especially oxygen therapy and ventilation, is an advantage
• Independent, responsible, and flexible personality with high organizational skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Empathic and situation-appropriate communication with children, parents, and professionals
• Readiness for predominantly field service activity with home visits
• Driver's license category B required
