This also includes the certifiable SNBS-Areal standard. In collaboration with Wüest Partner, we advance the development of ESG solutions, analysis, and sustainability at the interface of strategy, digitization, data analysis, and certification. Job description Your mission To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced leader with in-depth knowledge of sustainability certifications and sustainable real estate development. As a Manager Sustainability Certifications & ESG, you are responsible for the technical and personnel management of our certification team and develop its skills in a targeted manner. With our interdisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and sustainability experts, you accompany demanding construction and real estate projects and support our clients in developing sustainable and lasting solutions. You combine technical excellence, leadership, and strategic consulting and work closely with clients, international planning teams, and Durable and Wüest Partner experts. You actively contribute to the evolution of our sustainability certification business area and help strengthen our position as a leading consultant for sustainable real estate. Your area of responsibility As a Manager Sustainability Certifications & ESG, you take technical leadership of demanding projects and develop our certification team. You assume the following tasks, among others: • You take technical and personnel leadership of the certification team and develop its skills in a targeted manner • You develop adapted sustainability and certification strategies for building, site, and portfolio developments. • You accompany projects through all phases of service, from initial design to successful certification • You lead interdisciplinary workshops and coordinate complex processes with stakeholders • You lead interdisciplinary project teams and support them towards certification maturity • You continuously develop processes, quality standards, and working methods and promote a culture of high quality in the team • You coach employees and support their professional and personal development • You work closely with ESG, strategy, data analysis, and digitization experts from Wüest Partner • You actively contribute your experience to the development of our service portfolio and our sustainability certification business area Qualifications Your profile • University degree in architecture, engineering, environmental sciences, or comparable fields • Several years of professional experience (ideally at least 5 years) in sustainable planning, certification consulting, or project development • In-depth experience with Swiss sustainability standards such as Minergie-ECO, SNBS, and SGNI • Experience with international sustainability standards like LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, or WELL is an advantage • Accreditations such as LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor, DGNB Auditor, or comparable qualifications are an advantage • Experience in technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and direct client contact • Very good knowledge of planning and construction processes across all service phases • Strategic and analytical approach combined with a strong implementation orientation • Leadership skills as well as pleasure in developing teams and employees • Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in developing services and client relationships • High quality awareness, personal initiative, and sense of responsibility • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, knowledge of French is an advantage Additional information We offer • Demanding projects with high visibility in the Swiss and international context • Great autonomy and wide scope for action in developing our service portfolio • A central role in the development of our international certification and ESG business • Interdisciplinary collaboration within Durable and Wüest Partner • Modern working models with flexible teleworking options • A professional, collegiate, and entrepreneurial company culture • Attractive opportunities for development and further training • Prospects for taking on additional technical and strategic responsibilities • A modern workplace in Zurich Binz as well as technical equipment for mobile work Contact For any questions, Michelle Hiestand, HR Business Partner, is available at michelle.hiestand@wuestpartner.com.
