In this role, you will lead a team of seven employees, be responsible for a sub-area of the supervision of institutions and products in asset management, and actively shape the further development of the group.

FINMA supervises the Swiss financial market. It protects the interests of investors, creditors, and policyholders and contributes to the stability and competitiveness of financial market participants through its supervision. To this end, over 800 competent and motivated employees are engaged daily.

In the Asset Management and Markets business unit, we offer you a position as

Main tasks

• Personnel and functional leadership of the linguistically mixed team (DE/FR)
• Promotion and support of employees in daily business as well as in their professional and personal development
• Responsibility for the transversal supervision of asset management activities as well as product supervision (investment funds)
• Steering of theme-based supervision and focal themes
• Coordination of cooperation with internal cross-sectional departments as well as maintenance of important stakeholder relationships
• Further development of supervisory instruments taking into account national and international developments

Profile

• Completed university degree in law or economics
• At least eight years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, particularly in asset management as well as in personnel leadership
• Subject-specific further training, for example CFA, FRM, CAIA or diploma as a certified public accountant, is an advantage
• Strong conceptual, analytical and communicative skills
• Quick comprehension, strong planning and organizational skills, high initiative and intrinsic motivation
• Excellent knowledge of German or French (C2) and very good knowledge (C1) of the other language as well as English (C1)
