Deputy Director or Deputy Director Your mission ​The Department of Social Cohesion (DCS) brings together fundamental public policies to preserve and develop harmony and balance within our society. Through its determined action in the fields of culture, sport, insertion, and integration, as well as through the social assistance benefits it manages and delivers, the DCS contributes to consolidating "living together" and avoiding ruptures in the social contract that unites us. Within the DCS, the Office of Social Action, Insertion, and Integration (OAIS) is looking for the future deputy director or future deputy director of the supplementary benefits service (SPC). Equipped with a budget of more than 630 million francs per year and nearly 140 staff members, this service pays AVS/AI supplementary benefits to nearly 26,000 retired or disabled persons, as well as benefits to elderly unemployed people and families. As deputy director or deputy director, you will be in charge of the benefits division. Your main missions will be to: Support the director in the strategic and operational management of the SPC through analyses, advice, and implementation proposals. Contribute to the development of the strategic orientation, internal organization, and the operating and production objectives of the service. Guarantee the implementation of the structures, operations, and production activities allowing for the implementation of the various benefit schemes managed by the SPC. Lead the benefits division, and thus contribute to the achievement of the general objective of the SPC. Ensure the quality of the working environment and the adequacy of the skills and attitudes of your direct and indirect subordinates, in order to ensure the delivery of a sustainable and efficient benefit. Your profile University degree at master's level, in economic, social, or legal sciences, supplemented by a CAS in management. 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a field useful to the function and in a position of responsibility. A certification in management of social institutions and the social insurance patent are considered assets. Specific knowledge and skills Excellent knowledge of social insurance and Geneva institutions; Ability to motivate and manage a team, as well as to bring about and support change; Strong capacity for autonomy, sense of organization and responsibility; Capacity for synthesis, analysis, design, and innovation; Sense of public service; Stress resistance.
