Berne, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Ensure the planning of service provisions for all basic instruction services (SIB) in order to optimize the occupation of exercise areas, instruction infrastructures and accommodation, as well as coordinate consultation regarding the occupation of parade grounds, shooting ranges and exercise areas managed centrally and optimize the occupation rate of military instruction infrastructures and accommodation • Independently assume responsibility for data relating to service provisions and occupation in accordance with the basing concept and ensure its management in the four IT systems, in the army planning module (APM), respectively in the army central and reference database (KERDA), in the occupation planning system (BELPLAN) and in InfraScout Miliz • Supervise, on technical and administrative levels, the specialized application for occupation planning (BELPLAN) used by approximately 1700 people and the Centralized Management of firing notices (ZenSA) which has about 12 users; support and advise people using these applications and supervise external sites connected to the specialized application • Design, plan and deliver training related to specialized applications in the official languages; develop and update training documentation and user manuals • Write notices and respond to requests from military and civilian environments concerning the fields of service provision planning and occupation planning, BELPLAN and ZenSA; maintain existing directives and instructions and write new ones • Ensure compliance with and the correct reproduction of the basing concept in BELPLAN and contribute to the development of specialized applications within IT projects <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a university of applied sciences or higher professional training in a field relevant to the function (e.g. IT, project management) and two to three years of experience related to the function • Very good IT knowledge, particularly in the fields of databases and geographic information systems • Good knowledge of project management, preferably according to HERMES, and experience with IT projects and specialized applications • Particularly developed analytical and conceptual skills and ability to synthesize, good writing skills, autonomy and a work method focused on objectives and quality • Oral and written knowledge in a second official language • Desired experience of military staff work at the troop corps level or higher <br /> In a few words Would you like to contribute, with a committed and dynamic team, to the coordinated planning of service provisions and occupation of the army?
