Social Worker at kjz Horgen 40% # The Office for Youth and Vocational Counseling Canton Zürich, office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal competence center that offers professional support in the areas of family/youth and vocational counseling. The Child and Youth Welfare Center (kjz) is an advisory center for families, parents, adolescents, children, and toddlers and operates on the basis of the Child and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zürich. For our kjz team, we are looking for a social worker starting November 1, 2026, or by arrangement. Tasks ### You advise and accompany children, adolescents and parents within the framework of child protection measures in mandate management as well as on a voluntary basis. You also carry out assessments in cases of suspected child welfare endangerment. Intensive cooperation with family systems, authorities, schools as well as other institutions and specialist centers is important to us. Furthermore, your inputs and suggestions are required for the further development of our kjz Horgen. Profile ### You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family welfare. We are looking for you as a solution-oriented and resilient personality with high social skills, an appreciative attitude and enjoyment of teamwork. Administrative activities as well as the creation of reports and file notes are easy for you.
