Organisation und Informatik

Organisation und Informatik (OIZ) is the IT competence center of the Stadt Zürich. As part of the Legal Services department, you will support our organization in the legal accompaniment of digital transformation and the municipal IT infrastructure. Tasks

• You are responsible for solving contract, submission, administrative, and data protection law issues in the digitalization environment as well as occasionally from other legal fields (public personnel law, criminal law).
• You accompany submission law procedures, are responsible for clarifying data protection law issues, and draft and review contracts with suppliers.
• You advise the management and the specialist departments on all digitalization-relevant legal questions, create and revise regulations and decrees and OIZ-internal guidelines, and represent the OIZ in municipal working groups.
• You accompany projects and clarify legal aspects in the field of digitalization and new technologies (Cloud Computing, Blockchain, KI).
• You accompany political initiatives, especially postulates, motions, and inquiries from the Gemeinderat and its commissions, and draft and review financial and procurement law decrees and applications.

Profile

• Completed studies in legal sciences (MLaw or lic. iur.); a lawyer's license is an advantage.
• Administrative, judicial, or equivalent experience, preferably a corresponding activity in the IT/digitalization environment.
• Understanding and interest in political processes as well as a flair for understandable and legally sound implementation of complex issues, digitalization affinity.
• Precise, independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working, resilient personality, analytical skills, networked thinking, communication strength, negotiation skills, and flexibility.
• Leadership experience, experience in managing complex projects is an advantage.
• Stylistically confident oral and written communication in German and English, French language skills are an advantage.
