CONSTRUCTION MANAGER: RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION / INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION 80-100% - BERN

YOUR TASKS – BRINGING TECHNOLOGY INTO PRACTICE:

• Part of the local construction management for a large-scale railway infrastructure project in the Bern area and accompanying the implementation directly on site
• Coordination of work on the construction site and controlling its professional execution.
• Keeping an eye on deadlines and contractual specifications and responsibility for acceptances as well as warranty work
• Use of digital working methods such as «BIM2field» on the construction site and connecting planning and execution
• Bringing experience from execution into project design and project management

YOUR PROFILE – TECHNICALLY VERSATILE, PRACTICALLY ORIENTED:

• Training as a Technician TS, Civil Engineer FH/ETH or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in the construction management of infrastructure projects in Switzerland, ideally in railway construction
• Knowledge of the requirements of construction sites under railway operation as well as railway technology and railway safety
• Experience in project design and interest in the practical implementation of technical solutions
• Independent and reliable way of working, customer-oriented thinking, and taking on responsibility
• Clear communication and joy in collaborating in a team
• Confident use of MS Office programs; knowledge of «Messerli BAUAD» is an advantage
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing (min. C1), knowledge of English, French, or Italian is an advantage
