Committed to the quality of public service, the City Head of Signaling Sector at 80 % - 100 % Committed to the quality of public service, the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a: Head of Signaling Sector at 80 % - 100 % Your mission / You are in charge of managing the signaling sector and the team, defining and planning the maintenance of vertical signaling and road markings, managing light signaling installations, drafting and monitoring road traffic orders, monitoring requests relating to signaling, including analysis, processing and monitoring of decisions, as well as the distribution and delegation of tasks among the various internal and external stakeholders of the municipal administration. You are able to manage emergencies, prepare calls for tender, lead and supervise services, and you ensure the implementation of necessary legal and technical measures. Your profile / Personal skills / You hold a diploma as a civil engineering draughtsman or a works supervisor. Having good knowledge of the legal bases and professional standards in the field, you have experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and you are proficient in common computer-aided design tools (preferably Cadwork and AutoCAD). Possessing interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and a good capacity for analysis and synthesis, you are an autonomous person demonstrating team spirit. Experience in personnel management would be an asset. Your writing skills (reports, notes) are well-established. Desired start date / 1st October 2026 or date to be agreed.
