Responsibilities :

• Prepare dishes and menus according to seasons, products, clientele, etc.
• Create recipes, try various products to renew the restaurant menu, apply dietary principles for healthy and balanced nutrition
• Evaluate the quantities of goods to order based on recipes, reservations and sales forecasts
• Control delivered food items and determine their quality based on known criteria (origin, cultivation method, freshness, etc.)
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of food to be cooked: peel vegetables, wash them, cut meat, determine the quantity of various ingredients, etc.
• Prepare the dishes that make up the menu: soup, salad, meat, vegetables, dessert, etc., using appropriate appliances and utensils
• Apply various cooking methods: blanch, sauté, poach, stew, braise, gratin, roast, grill, etc.
• Carefully garnish dishes or plates; pass them to the service staff

• Compulsory schooling completed
• Kitchen internships already completed
• Pronounced passion for cooking
• Very good knowledge of French (oral and written)
• Good knowledge of English (oral and written)
