Clinical Pharmacist FPH

Our hospital pharmacy ensures the supply of medicines and medical devices for the Spitäler Schaffhausen. Cytostatics or mixtures for parenteral pain therapy are manufactured individually for patients. Discharged or outpatient patients can redeem their prescriptions in the in-house public pharmacy. The clinical pharmacists support the medical staff in the choice of drug therapy and advise on dosage adjustments or interactions. In the future, all prescriptions are to be pharmaceutically validated as part of Unit Dose. With over 1'700 employees, we ensure the extended basic medical and nursing care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatient and 90'000 outpatient patients. In addition, we are an important training site in the canton.
