In this mandate, you will take over the conception and implementation of a holistic monitoring and alerting approach for central infrastructure components - from network and firewall to server and storage systems. In addition to the technical implementation, the focus is particularly on building a resilient operation and escalation model for 24/7 operation. (Ref.-No. 925088RF) Tasks: • Development of a holistic monitoring and alerting concept for the data center infrastructure • Conception and implementation of: Event Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management • Implementation and configuration of the monitoring solution based on Zabbix • Evaluation of whether supplementary tools or extensions are sensible or necessary within the scope of the conception • Definition of threshold values, alerting logics, and escalation processes • Establishment of first-level support monitoring for 24/7 operation • Documentation of architecture, processes, and operating models • Handover to operations including know-how transfer to the operations team Requirements: • Several years of experience in the setup and operation of monitoring and alerting solutions in the data center environment • Profound knowledge in Zabbix (design, dashboards, templates, trigger, alerting) • Experience in monitoring: network, firewall, server & storage • Good knowledge of ITSM processes, especially with Event Management, Availability Management & Capacity Management • Experience in building 24/7 operation and escalation models • Analytical and conceptual strength combined with a strong hands-on mentality • Very good German skills in spoken and written • English skills are an advantage Reference nr.: 925088RF Role: Monitoring & Alerting Engineer - Zabbix / ITSM Location: Bern and region (no remote) Workload: 60% Start Date: End Date: If this position has piqued your interest, please send us your complete dossier via the link in this advertisement.
