The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the Canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1,200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various fields. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatients and more than 70,000 outpatients. In the interdisciplinary emergency centre, more than 27,500 people are treated annually.

With the new Siemens Naeotom Alpha.Pro and the Siemens Somatom X.ceed, we set standards in CT imaging throughout Switzerland. In addition, our range of services includes magnetic resonance imaging (3.0T GE, 1.5T Siemens), interventional radiology including angiography (Philips), digital radiography (DR), mammography (including CEM), and sonography.

For our Radiology department, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant Radiology with a focus on Interventions from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks ##

  • You assist in sterile and technical aspects of interventional radiological procedures
  • You care for our patients before, during, and after interventions
  • You monitor vital parameters and ensure the highest patient safety
  • You support examinations in CT, MRI, sonography, and conventional X-ray
  • You work closely with radiologists and radiology specialists
  • You take on organisational tasks such as documentation, service recording, and material management

Your Profile ##

  • Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ with a valid dose-intensive X-ray permit
  • Previous experience in radiology is desirable
  • Independent, structured, and efficient working style as well as confident prioritisation
  • Quick comprehension and networked thinking
