The municipality of Meikirch, with around 2500 inhabitants, is located on the southern slope of the Frienis mountain and can be reached from Bern in 35 minutes by Postauto and in approximately 15 minutes by car. The school locations are in the villages of Ortschwaben, Meikirch and Wahlendorf. Primary level is taught in mixed-age groups and divided into 1st-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade.

Tasks ###

Integrative promotion and support of students in a 5th & 6th grade Advising and supporting teachers on special education issues Assistance and participation in the MR-team Cooperation and exchange with specialist agencies Working hours: if possible Monday afternoon and Wednesday from 10-12

Requirements ###

a degree as a special education teacher (schulische Heilpädagogin/schulischer Heilpädagoge) or in training for this Enthusiasm and empathy for children Joy and interest in supporting children with special challenges Positive attitude towards integrative and mixed-age teaching forms
