We are looking for a motivated, committed and team-oriented personality who spoils our guests with enthusiasm for gastronomy and actively supports our crew as

Chef de Service (60 – 90%) immediately or by arrangement until the end of the year with the option of extension

• You lead and coordinate the service team during operations on board.
• You are the first point of contact for your team during the trip.
• You ensure a smooth process in service and actively support your team in daily business.
• You ensure that our service and quality standards are met.
• You work at the most beautiful workplace in Basel – z’mitts uff em Rhy.

What you bring with you

• You bring several years of experience in service, ideally as Chef de Rang or Chef de Service.
• You already have experience in leading or coordinating a service team.
• You have very good knowledge of service processes, Mise en Place and guest care.
• You are well-versed in à-la-carte service as well as in the banquet or event sector.
• You have experience in dealing with cash register systems and settlements.
• You speak fluent German and ideally can also communicate in other languages.
• You are flexible, resilient and maintain an overview even in hectic situations.
• You are a radiant person and, like us, carry Basel and the Rhine in your heart.
