Head of Department / Head of Department Social Counseling ## The Zentrum für Soziales is one of the largest associations of its kind in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100'000 people, we are active with great commitment, low-threshold and networked in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counseling, mother and father counseling, addiction counseling and school social work. The Social and Addiction Counseling department operates polyvalently and offers a wide range of counseling services. These include personal and economic social assistance, youth and parenting counseling, budget and debt counseling, assessments for municipalities and in the field of child protection for the KESB as well as addiction counseling. The department also includes school social work in eleven municipalities. As the previous job holder is returning to her original residential region for family reasons, the position is to be refilled by December 2026 or by arrangement Your tasks ### Tasks in the overall operational context of the municipal association • Participation in the management of the Zentrum für Soziales • Active participation in business development and quality management • External communication of the department in coordination with the management • Goal-oriented, effective and sustainable fulfillment of assigned tasks, especially the political and operational service mandate • Participation in internal and external working groups, projects and specialist committees Tasks within the framework of the personnel management function The department includes 47 employees.
