The contribution you can make

• Be responsible for all activities related to the assignment and processing of files for the Instruction Command (triage, business management, quality assurance and compliance with deadlines)
• Participate in the further development and design of business processes (in particular workflows) of the Instruction Command and the Defense Group, as well as in the promotion of business process automation, including the programming of specialist data
• Ensure the instruction and further training of Instruction Command employees in the use of the ACTA NOVA system and GEVER processes, as well as cross-Confederation instruction for employees regarding the configuration of workflows and specialist data in the ACTA NOVA system
• Support the supervisor in the creation, continuation and correction of digital document archiving and in the expansion and maintenance of knowledge management in daily activities
• Advise staff officers on the choice of the most efficient and compliant document archiving system

What distinguishes you

• Higher vocational training in the commercial field or equivalent training as well as 2-3 years of relevant experience for the function
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language
• Excellent knowledge of the GEVER application (technological and system environment, GEVER expert 2, organizational requirements, GEVER requirements, registration plan)
• Excellent IT skills and a high level of individual initiative as well as interest in the further development and improvement of existing processes and systems
• Strong customer and service orientation, sense of responsibility and willingness to collaborate with various interlocutors
• Professional experience in military administration constitutes an advantage

The Instruction Command (Cdo Istr) is responsible for instruction within the Swiss Army -- from recruitment to general basic instruction to officer training -- regarding the militia and professional soldiers. It includes Higher Officer Training, Army Personnel, five training formations, the Instruction Center and the specialized Service for Women in the army and diversity. A third of the approximately 2350 employees are active in civilian professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute to success together with the professional soldiers.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new generations, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
