• After a gradual introduction and training, take on a central role in the operation of our fighter jets
• Repair, maintain and service F/A-18 -- with later specialization on the most modern fighter jet generation F-35
• Check and maintain engines as well as safety-relevant systems -- from engine changes to stationary and test runs to inspections of cable catcher systems
• Hand over jets directly to pilots and take them back after the flight
• Occasionally take on special tasks -- for example during training abroad, in the flight accident standby service, at major events such as the WEF or in the plant fire brigade

What makes you unique

• Technical vocational training (e.g. automation technician, polymechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, motor device mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician or similar)
• Fascination for aviation -- aircraft experience is not a must
• Joy in teamwork in our well-coordinated small team as well as reliability and analytical thinking
• Readiness for technical support of training abroad (2 x 2-3 weeks per year) as well as occasional standby or night work (seasonally and individual weeks per year)
• Swiss citizenship and an impeccable certificate of good conduct (personal security clearance)

The Operations Command (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and deployments of the Swiss Army. The Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the Special Forces Command as well as the Military Police.
