Industrial Equipment Locksmith

We are looking for an industrial equipment locksmith in the canton of Neuchâtel. In this technical production environment, the function is oriented towards the preparation, adjustment, and assembly of mechanical components used in specific industrial equipment for the sector. The holder primarily works in the workshop, in compliance with internal procedures, the quality requirements of the final customer, and current safety standards. This activity requires a solid understanding of simple plans, good manual dexterity, as well as an ability to work with rigor in a mass production context.

Responsibilities

• Perform workshop locksmithing operations on industrial equipment according to received directives and established internal procedures.
• Assemble, adjust, and prepare mechanical elements intended for the automotive and aeronautics sectors while respecting the indicated tolerances.
• Use basic manual locksmithing tools to perform cutting, drilling, deburring, and shaping of suitable metal parts.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect worked parts to guarantee compliance with production quality standards.
• Apply safety instructions, maintain order at the workstation, and report any detected anomaly on the equipment concerned.
• Tig Mig welding on steel and stainless steel.

• You have completed compulsory schooling or secondary education.
• You demonstrate a proven interest in manual activities and workshop work.
• You work in a precise, structured, and quality-oriented manner.
• You accept repetitive tasks while respecting the production pace.
• You are available for an engagement.
• You have already performed welding in industrial assembly.
• SUVA Overhead crane/slinging permit
