The members of the Institute Council are elected for four years by the Federal Council and must disclose their conflicts of interest. Member with sound knowledge in the field of Human Resources for the Institute Council of the Eidgenössisches Institut für Geistiges Eigentum Active co-shaping of the strategic development of the IGE Accompanying and monitoring the implementation of the strategic objectives of the Federal Council Supervision and strategic support of the Directorate Issuing the personnel and fee regulations as well as submitting them to the Federal Council for approval Ensuring an internal control system adapted to the IGE as well as a risk and compliance management system Determining the composition of the Directorate, with the exception of the Director, and determining the employment conditions of all members of the Directorate Participation in two ordinary Institute Council meetings per year Excellent knowledge of strategic HR management as well as aligning the HR strategy with the circumstances of the IGE and the corporate objectives Experience in accompanying transformation and cultural development processes as well as organizational design Experience in the development and assessment of personnel strategies, talent management, succession planning and leadership development Understanding of current developments in digital HR management as well as data-based personnel management Sound knowledge of modern remuneration models and compensation systems Very good knowledge of the tasks and responsibilities of a strategic supervisory body as well as good governance in a public environment High social competence that enables working in a team and conflict resolution Very good knowledge of two official languages and good English skills Independence from functions or mandates that could lead to conflicts of interest with the tasks as a member of the Institute Council of the IGE In a nutshell You contribute expertise, strategic foresight and independence to effectively accompany and further develop the IGE as the federal center of competence for the protection of innovation and creativity.
