The logistics of Digitec Galaxus is growing rapidly: new warehouses, new processes, new standards. Behind every package that arrives on time are hundreds of operational decisions – and that is exactly where you come into play. Our Continuous-Improvement team (CI) optimizes the processes in all our warehouse locations. What we are still missing is a data-driven voice in the team: someone who uses Process Mining and data analysis to show where the biggest levers lie, how the impact can be and whether improvements work sustainably. At the same time, you will raise the data competence of the entire CI team to the next level. You will work closely with our central Data Team, define data requirements for the pipeline and independently develop dashboards and reports that help the operational teams make the right decisions. Process & Data Analyst (w/m/d) Continuous Improvement Logistics Your tasks Using our internal Process-Mining tool, SQL and dashboarding tools, you identify weaknesses and improvement potentials across different locations in our warehouse processes You develop sound business cases for improvement initiatives, quantify the expected impact and evaluate costs and benefits Based on data, you verify whether implemented improvements work sustainably Together with the operational teams in the warehouses, you define relevant KPIs – coordinated with the available data and the respective management level You independently develop and maintain dashboards and reports that support operational decisions at all levels You define data requirements in close cooperation with the central Data Team and ensure that the required data is available in the right quality During Lean improvement events, you support the CI team with targeted data collection and analysis – before, during and after the event You convey a solid understanding of data to the CI team – from the basics to the conscious handling of data quality You coach managers on how to use relevant and correct data professionally for their daily decisions You constructively question existing procedures, bring in new ideas and test the benefit of new technologies – including AI-based approaches – for our analyses and processes Your skills You have a university degree from an ETH, university or technical college in the technical, data analytical or industrial engineering field – or equivalent relevant professional experience You bring at least two to three years of professional experience in an analytical role, ideally in a logistics or operations environment Good SQL knowledge enables you to independently carry out data queries and analyses; knowledge is an advantage Experience in developing dashboards and reports with Tableau or comparable BI tools such as Power BI is part of your profile Process-Mining experience is a clear advantage; we require the willingness to familiarize yourself with our internal tool You are familiar with the development of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, ROI considerations and data-based decision templates Experience with Lean Management, Six Sigma or other structured improvement methods is an advantage You master German at least at C1 level.
