Bioprocess Engineer Cleaning Expert

The actual location of this position is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation support is available for eligible applicants and their families if required. As a Bioprocess Engineer, you are part of the production team and fulfill the tasks of a bioprocess engineer in the area of cleaning and project support in daily operations. Within the Microbial Large Scale production plant, both initial engineering campaigns and continuously running commercial processes are carried out. This position is a fully site-based role. Close personal collaboration on-site enables direct real-time coordination and supports the technical precision required for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals according to the highest quality and safety standards. Creation, processing, and maintenance of SOPs, cleaning reports, and other work documents in the area of plant cleaning. Independent support and monitoring of ongoing cleaning and production processes while adhering to high quality and compliance standards. Handling of projects as well as continuous optimization and further development of existing processes. Representation of the production team during customer and regulatory audits and inspections with a focus on plant cleaning. Support of project teams in the preparation, documentation, and processing of deviations, CAPAs, and investigations, as well as with technical questions regarding cleaning processes. Execution of tasks in the GMP-regulated environment in compliance with applicable guidelines and quality requirements. What we are looking for: MSc, BSc Chemistry/ Process Engineering/ Biotechnology from a University or FH, comparable degree with several years of professional experience. Experience in pharmaceutical production and in the GMP environment is desirable. Experience with TrackWise as well as knowledge in the area of plant cleaning is an advantage. German and English in spoken and written form. Solution-oriented and independent way of working with high initiative and sense of responsibility. Openness to continuous improvement processes.
