Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d) # Be your best with bechtle ## On behalf of our client based in Genève, we are looking for a Commvault Backup Engineer (f/m/d) responsible for ensuring the operation, reliability, and evolution of backup and data protection infrastructures within a critical banking environment. Your mission #### • Administer, operate, and evolve the Commvault backup platform to guarantee data protection and availability. • Supervise backup, restoration, replication, and archiving processes in accordance with security and business continuity requirements. • Analyze and resolve incidents, optimize performance, and ensure the operational maintenance of backup infrastructures. • Participate in the definition and improvement of data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies. • Collaborate with system, storage, virtualization, and network teams as part of platform evolutions and transformation projects. Your profile ## • At least 5 years of experience in the administration and operation of backup solutions within complex and critical environments. • Proven expertise in Commvault, particularly in administration, optimization, incident resolution, upgrades, and migrations. • Solid knowledge of backup, restoration, replication, archiving, data protection, and DR/BCP concepts. • Good command of enterprise storage environments, with experience in HPE Alletra solutions. • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructures, VMware virtualization, as well as SAN and NAS storage environments. • Ability to work independently, methodically, and rigorously, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
