Job Description ##

Your responsibilities:

• Advise the different departments of the Bank on all legal issues, providing pragmatic solutions in compliance with the Swiss regulatory framework.
• Draft, review and negotiate legal and contractual documentation, particularly in the fields of Commodity Trade Finance, Wealth Management and Financial Institutions.
• Manage requests, investigations and procedures from Swiss and foreign authorities, as well as civil, criminal, administrative and litigation files.
• Monitor external legal advice and coordinate their intervention with the relevant departments.
• Perform legal research and analysis, monitor developments in Swiss legislation and regulation and support their implementation within the Bank.
• Support the Head of Legal & Compliance on various legal and regulatory topics, particularly regarding Compliance, internal training and by providing back-up.

The Successful Applicant ##

Your profile:

• 15 to 20 years of professional experience in a senior legal function, ideally acquired within the Swiss banking sector.
• Significant and imperative experience in Commodity / Trade Finance
• Excellent knowledge of Swiss law and the banking environment, as well as regulatory and Compliance issues.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and negotiation skills, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, sense of responsibility and ability to manage several complex files in parallel.
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, and residence in Switzerland.
