The contribution you can make

• As head of finance, organize the financial policy and provide support in all financial matters, including the purchasing sector, from planning to consulting
• Develop and follow process management at the Locarno Air Base level and guarantee quality management (QSM)
• As head of the medical service, guarantee the operational medical service of the Locarno Air Base and instruct the employees of the entire airfield
• Assume responsibility for the care and psychological support areas

What distinguishes you

• Higher professional education or commercial training with experience in the field of operational management
• In-depth knowledge of financial processes and financial and corporate accounting in the Federal Administration (SAP S/4 HANA)
• IAS training level 1; obtaining a higher level is an advantage
• Desirable basic knowledge in the psychological field
• Good active knowledge of at least a second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third language
• Experience as an active militia officer is an advantage

The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the special forces command, and the military police. Approximately 40 percent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilians: from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. It also provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
