Schaffhausen Hospitals include the cantonal hospital, psychiatric services, Posthof Neuhausen radiology and cardiology practices, as well as the Schaffhausen Centre neurology practice. With more than 1'700 employees, we provide extensive basic medical and nursing care for the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for approximately 11'000 inpatients and 90'000 outpatients. Furthermore, we are an important training center in the canton.

We offer one training position every year in the field of NDS HF anesthesia nursing. The earliest possible start of training for a future expert in NDS HF anesthesia nursing is in autumn 2027.

The anesthesia department performs approximately 6'000 anesthesias every year in a modern environment, covering a wide range of specialties.

What awaits you

• Autonomous performance and monitoring of general anesthesias in adults and children (specialties: surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, spinal surgery, bariatric surgery, and ENT)
• Professional and comprehensive care of patients during regional anesthesias
• Resuscitation services throughout the entire hospital in collaboration with the anesthesiologist

What you bring

• Tertiary-level diploma in HF nursing, a Bachelor of Science in FH nursing, or a foreign diploma in nursing recognized by SEFRI
• At least 6 months of professional experience in acute care in a hospital
• Stress resistance, flexibility, and autonomy
• Ability to work in a team and communication skills
• High sense of quality and service
• Responsible, determined, and committed personality
