Data Engineer

Our client from Cybersecurity is looking for a motivated professional as a Data Engineer who accelerates data ingestion and processing through the analysis of applications and the design of efficient architectures.

Tasks

• Optimization of existing implementations of Machine Learning algorithms
• Design and implementation of data pipelines for a large application
• Benchmarking of various solution approaches and analysis of performance
• Optimization of code and resource utilization
• Presentation of solution approaches and architecture decisions
• Ensuring performance and data integrity of critical databases (NoSQL and SQL)
• Support of new projects and integrations together with the R&D team

Profile

• Good programming skills in Scala as well as in query languages such as SQL and NoSQL
• Knowledge of Spark
• Best practices of software engineering: Continuous Integration with Git, Jira, Bitbucket
• Data-oriented personality
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Critical thinking
