Position: Partner & Head of Corporate Law Location: Zurich Working time: 100% full time Objective The partner & head of corporate law leads the firm's corporate law practice and advises domestic and international clients on all corporate and commercial law matters. Tasks • Advise clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including company formation, corporate structuring, and legal strategy • Lead and execute complex corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, spin-offs, restructurings, and capital increases • Draft, review, and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements, share purchase agreements (SPA), asset purchase agreements (APA), and associated legal documents • Strategic legal advice on corporate governance issues, board of directors responsibilities, executive compensation, and shareholder rights • Advise clients on compliance with the Swiss Code of Obligations, corporate disclosure obligations, and relevant international legal standards • Maintain and develop long-term client relationships through high-quality services and proactive engagement • Develop business development strategies, contribute to thought leadership (e.g., articles, webinars, events), and represent the firm at industry conferences • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and associates, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, billing targets, and operational objectives Requirements Education • Admission to the Swiss bar and first-class qualifications • Excellent academic qualifications in law (master / doctorate) • Additional studies in business law or financial law Professional experience • At least 10 years of proven experience as a lawyer, preferably as a partner in a law firm, an audit firm, or in a leadership position in the legal department of a bank or an asset management company. Languages • Confident style, good knowledge of English and German • Additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are an asset.
