Category Manager (m/w/d 80 – 100%) To strengthen our team, we are looking for, starting no later than, a/an Category Manager (m/w/d 80 – 100%) Your main tasks You ensure the operational implementation of the purchasing strategy in the Garden and Plants categories. You make assortment decisions, conduct supplier/buyer meetings, and maintain contact with the members. Furthermore, you lead projects, conduct sampling and workshops, and implement optimizations in goods procurement. Additionally, you support international sourcing, especially in Asia, and accompany import processes. As part of your activity, you represent the company. Your profile You have a commercial basic education, supplemented by further training in trade or marketing. You have professional experience in purchasing (B2B Non-Food retail preferred) and bring knowledge in import or Asian business. You are a practitioner and a team player. Confident communication skills in German and English round off the profile optimally.
