Job Description
As part of an important modernization program for its information system, our client is looking for a Technical Infrastructure / DevOps Project Manager. You will work within an Information Systems Directorate in charge of critical applications and high-availability technical platforms. This position is intended for a professional from the infrastructure or DevOps fields who has progressively evolved towards technical project management. Your role will be to coordinate infrastructure projects, support technical teams in their evolutions, participate in architecture choices, and contribute to the modernization of platforms as well as the reduction of technological debt. Your responsibilities In connection with architects, DevOps engineers, development teams, and infrastructure partners, your missions will notably include: Leading technical projects related to infrastructures, DevOps platforms, and application execution environments. Organizing and coordinating all project phases: analysis, design, planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and production launch. Ensuring coordination between Infrastructure, DevOps, Development, Architecture teams, and suppliers. Participating in technical architecture work and contributing to the orientations of hosting and deployment platforms. Supporting infrastructure modernization projects and leading actions for technical debt reduction and obsolescence management. Supervising the evolution of OpenShift and Linux platforms and continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Ensuring the availability, performance, security, and resilience of technical infrastructures. Monitoring risks, dependencies, and project management indicators. Participating in the definition of DevOps, automation, and industrialization best practices. Contributing to business continuity plans, operating procedures, as well as technical documentation. Maintaining technological watch in order to identify solutions to improve performance, security, and operational efficiency.
Profile sought
Higher education in computer science, information systems, or an equivalent field. Minimum 5 years of experience in technical or infrastructure project management. Previous experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, DevOps, or Technical Architect. Solid experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes on-premise environments. Good mastery of Linux environments and their administration. Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent). Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet. Good understanding of infrastructure architectures, networks, security, and production environments. Ability to lead projects involving several technical teams and external partners. Experience in the coordination of technical teams and suppliers. Excellent analysis, synthesis, and organizational skills. Very good command of French. Experience in all or part of the following technologies will be a real asset: Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenShift / Kubernetes GitLab CI, Jenkins Ansible, Puppet, RunDeck SonarQube CheckMK Splunk Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL ElasticSearch RabbitMQ Deployment and operation of Java or Perl applications Scripting (Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby…)
