Pre-intern Soziokultur Children

With around 2400 employees, the Sozialdepartement of the City of Zürich works every day for a social Zürich. We are there for everyone and support children, adolescents, and adults in different life situations. We make an important contribution to social cohesion. And we contribute to a high quality of life in the neighborhoods.

The employees of the Fachbereich Soziales Stadtleben contribute social aspects to urban developments and operate socio-cultural offerings in the neighborhoods.

For our teams, we are looking for motivated reinforcements starting February 1, 2027, for a duration of 6 months: for the Kindertreff Viadukt and the Familientreff Hard (60-80 %) as well as the Spielanimation 3, 4 and 5 (60 %).

Tasks

• You design, plan, and carry out leisure activities, creative play and craft offers, as well as excursions for children in the Kindertreff points and in the public space of the City of Zürich.
• You participate in team meetings and are actively involved in networking meetings as well as in cooperations.
• You get to know socio-cultural offerings and methods.
• You perform administrative work such as writing daily journals, protocols and monthly programs, designing flyers and posters.

Profile

• You want to study at a Fachhochschule for Social Work and need a social internship for admission
• An open, committed, and communicative personality
• Joy in contact with children and adolescents, as well as interest in their living environment
• High sense of responsibility, independence, flexibility, and initiative
• Good written and oral German skills
