Learn more about UZH as an employer! ### Tasks You support researchers in the field of Life Sciences in collaborating with industry and in the commercial implementation of their research results. This specifically includes: • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating research contracts with domestic and foreign partners • Evaluation of inventions regarding patentability and commercial potential • Coordination of patent applications in cooperation with patent attorneys • Support of the transfer and the economic exploitation of technologies • Creating licensing agreements and conducting negotiations until the conclusion of the contract Profile You have a university degree in the field of Life Sciences, e.g., biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or medicine. You have several years of professional experience in the private sector in a customer-oriented role. Now you want to take the next development step. Additionally, you bring: • Enjoyment of negotiating, communication, and exchange with researchers, companies and other partners • Interest in dealing deeply with contracts as well as scientific, technical and legal issues • Independent, proactive and structured way of working • Ability to grasp complex matters and convey them understandably • Proficient German and very good English in spoken and written form • Initial experience with patents, licenses and research contracts would be a plus.
