Head of Building Construction / Deputy Head of Construction + Planning (80–100 %)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the building construction area, processing of building application and building permit procedures including building inspections
• Advising clients, planners and the population and close exchange with authorities and specialist offices
• Project management and client representation for municipal building construction projects as well as planning and coordination of maintenance work for municipal properties
• Budget and investment planning, cost control, construction accounting, tender procedures
• Contact person for the municipal council and commissions, implementation of decisions and participation in cross-departmental projects
• Deputy management in the absence of the Head of Construction + Planning and close cooperation with the technical services
• Function as bfu safety delegate for the municipality of Bellach as well as BESIBE in the administration area

Your profile

• Completed training as Zeichner/in EFZ specializing in architecture, preferably with corresponding further training, or an equivalent education
• Several years of professional experience (building construction, public administration or construction and project management)
• Good knowledge of construction, planning and procurement law
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in taking on leadership responsibility
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working with organizational and negotiation flair
• Ability to work in a team, social competence and assertiveness
• Confident handling of digital working tools as well as good oral and written expression
• Willingness to participate in evening meetings
