Driven by a development dynamic, notably through a major residential district project in the Yverdon-les-Bains region and the realization of a technological building on the EPFL campus, our client is mandating us today to identify personalities ready to actively contribute to the success of its projects, as Director of Works Lead ambitious projects, from execution to delivery Your responsibilities Integrated into the works management team, you work on large-scale projects, both in the housing sector and on complex achievements with high technical requirements. Depending on your profile and experience, you take charge of the management of all or part of the works (covered clos, second work or specific lots) and ensure the monitoring of the execution phase, in close coordination with the project teams and contractors. As such, you are responsible for respecting costs, deadlines and quality, monitoring the progress of construction sites and ensuring the proper coordination of companies. You also intervene during the tendering phases when necessary and provide your technical expertise to ensure the smooth running of operations. Present on the field, you play a key role in the success of projects and actively contribute to maintaining a high level of requirement in their realization. Your profile With proven experience in works management, you have participated in large-scale construction projects and master the challenges related to the execution phase. At ease in the coordination of multiple stakeholders, you demonstrate rigor and organization and method in the monitoring of your construction sites. Your sense of responsibility, pragmatism and ability to make decisions enable you to effectively manage hazards and move projects forward. You appreciate teamwork and naturally integrate into a collaborative environment. You have ideally acquired your experience in Switzerland, within an architecture firm, a general or total company, or a specialized company in works management, and are thus familiar with local practices. With a background in architecture or engineering (or equivalent course), you master the usual project management tools (MS Project, Messerli).
