Job description We are looking for, starting 1. August 2026 or by agreement:   Trainee or Intern The integration year is aimed at young people and young adults with a place of residence in the canton of Solothurn, who have not completed or have only partially completed compulsory schooling in Switzerland and are striving for vocational training. 2 profiles are offered: The focus of all subjects is on learning and deepening the German language. In addition to German, mathematics, career choice, orientation in Switzerland, crafts, sports and culture are part of the curriculum. The lessons are supplemented by weekly internship days in various professional fields. The integration year serves the better linguistic, professional and social integration of foreign-language young people and young adults. Your task As a trainee or intern, you will support the teachers in preparing, following up and conducting lessons. You will take over, plan and develop individual learning sequences in consultation with the teachers. Additionally, you will lead homework help and accompany class teachers on excursions. Furthermore, you will support an integrative vocational school project. You bring • EFZ apprenticeship, Matura or vocational diploma • Age between 18 and 25 years old • Joy and interest in pedagogical and social-pedagogical work with young people and young adults who have only recently arrived in Switzerland • Joy and interest in teaching and learning methods • Ability to work independently and goal-oriented • Teamwork, reliability, simplicity • Integrative attitude    We offer • A one-year internship in a bridging offer and collaboration on an integrative vocational school project • An interesting, versatile pedagogical-social field of work • The opportunity to gain experience in the integration context • Open and benevolent team that values close collaboration Place of work Solothurn Start of employment 1.
