Head of Finance Department (80 - 100%) The municipality of Bauma with around 5’200 inhabitants is located in the middle of a scenic and touristically attractive region in the Oberland and is the center of the upper Tösstal. For the management of the finance department of our single municipality, we are looking for a proactive, professionally competent and personally convincing personality as Head of Finance Department (80 – 100%) to start on 1. October 2026 or by agreement. Your main tasks Professional, organizational, administrative and personnel management of the finance department Responsibility for the overall accounting, debtors and creditors of the municipality of Bauma and for clients Responsibility for VAT settlements Preparation of the annual financial statements according to HRM2 Salary administration and insurance Creation of the budget and task and financial planning in cooperation with the management team, responsibility for controlling and IKS Advising the head of department, the municipal council, authorities, department heads and other persons in the field Participation in projects and strategy processes and their implementation Your profile Commercial training EFZ or equivalent Further education in the field, e.g. specialist in finance and accounting with federal FA or equivalent Several years of professional experience in a public finance administration or private financial department Very good IT user skills, especially Microsoft Excel and accounting program, ideally Abraxas FIS Ability to communicate confidently and appropriately in German Economic and entrepreneurial thinking and acting Distinct flair for numbers and pleasure in the task and in contact with people Help shape the future of our municipality!
