The Service des biens culturels de l'État de Fribourg identifies, documents, protects, and conserves the cultural heritage of the canton of Fribourg. To do this, it provides the necessary information, advice, and assistance to the competent authorities and owners. In addition, it promotes the knowledge and respect of cultural property through publications, awareness actions, and the maintenance of documentation. Your missions Replacement of a 4-month maternity leave, with the possibility of extension by a CDI from September 2027; Monitor files, projects, and permit application procedures concerning protected buildings or sites; Monitor spatial planning files and procedures and process related appeals; Provide necessary advice to applicants and draft preliminary opinions for the concerned authorities; Process subsidy applications and monitor work; Ensure the establishment and monitoring of documentation and restoration reports for the files monitored; Collaborate with other sections of the Service, as well as in awareness and training actions; Collaborate on the development of internal tools and transversal projects between sections. Desired Profile Education HES or university level Master's in architectural history, architecture, or art history; training in heritage conservation or urban planning would be a plus; Proven experience in monitoring restoration/conservation work; Very good understanding of historic buildings and structures; ease in reading plans and technical documents; Good understanding of legal bases and spatial planning issues; Proven negotiation, communication, and argumentation skills in delicate contexts; Good organizational and prioritization skills with stress resistance; Driver's license (category B, manual and automatic); Mastery of the German language (external communication language), with good understanding of French (internal working language).
