Group Procurement Manager/ Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Build the group-wide procurement of the HPW-Gruppe with us.

HPW Pharma AG is the Swiss parent company of the HeilpflanzenWohl-Gruppe, a growing corporate group in the field of OTC medicines and dietary supplements with a wide brand portfolio.

With our growth, the requirements for a professional, group-wide procurement also increase. Therefore, we are bundling and professionalizing our existing procurement activities and developing a scalable procurement function for the entire group from them.

For this, we are looking for an entrepreneurially minded personality who does not just buy and negotiate, but creates structures, recognizes potentials, and sustainably shapes the strategic procurement of the HPW-Gruppe.

Your Role

As Group Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you take on group-wide responsibility for our strategic procurement and report directly to the CFO.

You develop a brand- and company-spanning sourcing strategy, bundle procurement volumes, negotiate with our CMOs and service providers, and create the processes, tools, and standards for professional and scalable procurement.

In doing so, you work closely with our Business Units, Supply Chain, and management.

Your Tasks

Strategic Group Procurement

• You are responsible for group-wide procurement across our brands and companies.
• You develop and implement a uniform, cross-brand sourcing strategy.
• You bundle procurement volumes and systematically identify synergy, scaling, and cost-saving potentials.

Negotiation & Supplier Management

• You conduct strategic negotiations with CMOs/contract manufacturers and service providers regarding conditions, contracts, and service levels.
• You further develop our supplier portfolio and establish structured supplier management including evaluation and development.
• You create long-term reliable partnerships while simultaneously ensuring competitive procurement conditions.

Processes, Standards & Digitalization

• You professionalize our source-to-pay processes and continuously develop them.
• You establish group-wide procurement guidelines as well as clear approval and compliance standards.
• You take responsibility for the selection and introduction of suitable eProcurement/S2P solutions.
• You drive digitalization and automation in procurement and establish meaningful procurement KPIs.

Planning & Forecasting

• You derive procurement and requirement forecasts from the sales planning of our Business Units.
• Together with the Business Units and the Supply Chain, you coordinate requirements, stocks, and delivery times.
• You create transparency and a reliable data basis for procurement decisions.

What You Bring

Crucial for us is your experience in strategic procurement and your ability to not only manage structures but to actively develop them further.

You should bring:

• Several years of experience in strategic procurement
• Provable successes in negotiations with manufacturers and/or service providers
• Sound understanding of procurement and sourcing processes
• Very good analytical understanding for forecasting, sales, and requirement planning
• A structured, independent, and implementation-strong way of working
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment in building structures
• Very good German and English skills

Additionally, we look forward to:

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience from Pharma, OTC, FMCG, or the CMO/contract manufacturer environment
• Experience with Source-to-Pay/Purchase-to-Pay processes
• Experience in the selection or introduction of procurement or ERP tools
