Warehouse Manager CDC (m/f/d), 100% Your tasks You manage the automated central warehouse, coordinate daily operations and ensure that processes are implemented efficiently, cost-optimized and qualitatively flawless. In particular, you ensure that the flow of goods from incoming goods to transport runs optimally and is accurately mapped in the systems. You continuously optimize and standardize logistics and warehouse processes in the central warehouse as well as within the network (regional warehouses and branches) and ensure the optimal deployment, leadership and performance management of employees to increase productivity and quality and minimize errors and customer complaints. Additionally, you are responsible for investment clarifications and coordinate and optimize maintenance, repair and cleaning work. You ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire protection guidelines and the permanent readiness of all technical aids at all times. You analyze key figures, create evaluations, derive instructions for action and present relevant topics in internal meetings as well as to the Supply Chain and Management leadership. You also take on responsibility in personnel management: you create deployment and vacation plans, as well as monitor working hours and legal requirements. You actively accompany the recruitment of new employees and trainees. Your profile Training in the field of logistics/supply chain and at least 10 years of relevant management experience, of which at least 5 years as a responsible warehouse manager of a central warehouse/distribution hub Higher further education in the areas of management, business administration, vocational training and occupational safety. LEAN/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred Experience with automated warehouse solutions (e.g. Autostore, automated high-bay warehouse) Several years of experience in recruiting, managing, developing and performance managing employees (team size of at least 50 MA) Experience in defining, implementing and standardizing end-to-end logistics processes (including digital processes) with demonstrable results in optimizing logistics KPIs (productivity, costs, service levels, utilization, inventory/inventories, etc.) Experience in operational personnel planning based on S&OP/IBP Experience in network planning and optimization of goods flows between central warehouse and regional warehouses and branches Experience in complying with and implementing Health & Safety standards Strong project management skills. Organizationally strong, responsible, with high initiative, assertiveness and pronounced quality awareness Very good understanding of business management contexts, experience with budgets, business cases and cost optimization Very good knowledge of MS Office and warehouse management, WMS and ERP systems.
