As Head of Data Governance, you will lead our Data Governance team and be responsible for Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Data Operations in Asset Management. Together, you will create the foundation for high-quality data, regulatory compliance, and a responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.

With your expertise, you will connect business, technology, risk, and compliance and drive the further development of our Data & AI Capabilities.

What you achieve ##

• Further development and implementation of the Data Governance Framework as well as the associated roles, standards, and processes
• Responsibility for Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, Data Catalogue, Business Glossary, metadata management, and Data Lineage
• Management of Master Data Management as well as external data providers with a focus on data quality, service levels, and governance
• Responsibility for Data Quality Management as well as for stable and efficient Data & Reporting Operations
• Implementation of group-wide Data & AI Governance regulations and ensuring regulatory requirements
• Promotion of standardization, automation, and continuous improvement
• Advising and coaching Data Owners, Data Stewards, management, and other stakeholders
• Active participation in transformation and digitalization initiatives as well as close cooperation with Business, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT

What you bring ##

• University degree in economics, finance, data management, computer science, or comparable training
• Several years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or related areas
• Several years of leadership experience and enjoyment in the development of teams
• Experience with governance and control frameworks as well as regulatory requirements in the financial services or Asset Management environment
• Good understanding of modern data platforms as well as data-driven business and reporting processes
• Experience in the implementation and operation of master data systems (e.g., SimCorp DMS, Neoxam) and in the connection of market data (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, SIX, MSCI etc,)
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communicative skills as well as strong stakeholder management
• High initiative, implementation orientation, and enjoyment of change
• Very good German and English skills, French is an advantage
