La Clinique de la Main Genève SA is looking for a Medical Device Technologist (TDM) to join its team in a professional, dynamic, and human-scale environment. The person will be primarily responsible for activities related to the sterilization and reprocessing of medical devices. Depending on their experience and evolution within the clinic, they may also be required to intervene in the operating room and collaborate with the surgical team. Your missions/ tasks: Ensure the reprocessing of reusable medical devices in accordance with current standards and internal protocols; Perform the different stages of the sterilization process: pre-disinfection, washing, control, reconstitution of trays, packaging, sterilization, and release of loads; Control the compliance, traceability, and proper functioning of medical devices; Prepare and make available operating trays in collaboration with the operating room team; Manage the stocks of sterile medical devices, consumables, and sterilization equipment; Ensure the maintenance, routine controls, and monitoring of sterilization equipment; Participate in the management of non-conformities and the continuous improvement of quality processes; Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety standards, and regulatory requirements regarding sterilization; Collaborate closely with the operating room teams and other healthcare professionals; Participate in the training and supervision of CFC apprentices. Your profile and qualifications: CFC training as a Medical Device Technologist; Experience in the operating room; Excellent organizational skills; Comfort with IT tools and medical software; Sense of responsibility, autonomy, and discretion; Ability to integrate into a dynamic and professional team. You know how to show initiative and work autonomously. Your sense of organization allows you to successfully carry out the various tasks for which you are responsible. Endowed with an excellent team spirit, you appreciate multidisciplinary work and collaborate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals. You are empathetic, a good listener, and possess very good interpersonal skills with patients. You are a trustworthy, rigorous person capable of the utmost discretion regarding the data processed.
