Senior IT/OT Systems Engineer (w/m/d) 80%-100%

Your contribution • Integration of manufacturer-supplied OT and OT-related server and application platforms (e.g. production IT, DNC, QC and MES interfaces) • Technical evaluation of manufacturer solutions and architectures from a risk, security and lifecycle perspective • Support of Production Engineering in the integration, expansion, migration and stabilization of production systems on the shop floor • Further development and implementation of security, segmentation and hardening guidelines under OT-specific conditions • Active participation in the development and further development of the IT/OT architecture, the associated service landscape and group-wide IT standards and policies • Leadership and overall responsibility for IT projects across the entire project lifecycle What you bring • IT studies or higher technical education (TS, HF, FH) with a focus on computer science or comparable professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility • In-depth, multi-year experience in OT and industrial IT environments • Solid understanding of production processes, machine connections and their IT dependencies • Practical experience in the areas of virtualization, Windows Server, networks, backup/recovery and system hardening • Ability to integrate OT systems into central IT standards and platforms in a structured manner, without increasing production risks • Pronounced engineering mentality with a focus on analysis, design, implementation and sustainable stabilization • Structured, risk- and solution-oriented approach to work • Ability to reduce technical complexity and increase operational safety in the long term • Broad technical understanding across system, service and domain boundaries • Strong security mindset with a focus on availability, resilience and damage limitation rather than mere compliance • Very good German language skills and secure, professional communication in French • Experience in documentation, audit and compliance-relevant environments is an advantage What to expect from us You will take on a varied and responsible role with a great deal of scope for action.
