Construction Manager Structural Engineering (m/f/d)

Introduction

On behalf of our client, a renowned company in structural engineering, we are looking for you as a Construction Manager Structural Engineering. You will manage construction sites operationally, coordinate all participants, and ensure that quality, deadlines, and costs are met from execution planning to handover.

Tasks

• Management of the construction site: deployment and resource planning, coordination of trades as well as guidance of contractors and service providers
• Control of deadlines, costs, and quality according to project specifications; reporting, leading construction meetings including minutes
• Actively manage interfaces: client, planning, authorities, neighborhood, and internal departments
• Ensure QA/HSE (SUVA specifications): inspections, partial and final inspections as well as defect tracking until handover
• Construction administration as well as schedule and process planning

Profile

• Completed construction-related basic training (e.g., Structural Drafter EFZ, with further training as a Construction Manager, Technician HF Construction Planning or equivalent)
• Several years of experience in construction management in structural engineering (new construction, conversion, or renovation)
• Confident in handling SIA standards, construction processes, and construction administration; confident appearance on the construction site
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working; strong communication and negotiation skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written; other languages an advantage
