To complement our team, we are looking for, as of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, a Head of Regional Social Services BBL / Member of the Executive Board 80 - 100 % ## You will take over the management of the Regionaler Sozialdienst BBL and, as a member of the executive board of the municipality of Biberist, shape the future of a modern and effective social organization together with your colleagues. Your tasks: • Personnel, professional and organizational management of the Regional Social Services • Strategic further development of the social services • Ensuring effective cooperation and coordination between the Regional Social Commission, the lead municipality, the contract municipalities and the Regional Social Services • Maintenance and further development of cooperation with authorities, social regions as well as social institutions and other partner organizations • Creation and preparation of reportings, evaluations and decision-making bases • Management and participation in projects as well as implementation of organizational and process developments • Possible takeover of operational casework (e.g. in the areas of social assistance as well as child and adult protection) • Active participation in the executive board as well as co-shaping the further development of the municipality What we expect from you: • University degree in Social Work (Uni/FH) or an equivalent education with corresponding professional experience • Further education as well as several years of experience in the areas of leadership and project management • In-depth specialist knowledge and practical experience in one or more fields of responsibility, particularly social assistance and/or child and adult protection • Strong service, solution and quality orientation • High resilience as well as strong organizational and conceptual skills • High social competence, leadership strength and skill in dealing with different stakeholder groups • Confident written and convincing oral communication skills • Empathy, integrity and an appreciative handling of people in different life situations What we offer you: • A responsible and varied leadership function in an open, professional and motivated team • The opportunity to actively help shape the further development of the Regional Social Services • A dedicated, competent and appreciative team • A modern infrastructure as well as need-oriented training and further education opportunities • A profound and careful induction • A centrally located and easily accessible workplace • A dedicated personnel delegation We look forward to receiving your application via the application link.
